Mount Kamon, near Karmiel, Kamon

A kosher dairy restaurant on Rom Farm on Mount Kamon, cooking from the farm's goat cheeses and garden on a deck above the Beit HaKerem valley

The Rom Farm restaurant sits on a deck looking over the Beit HaKerem valley, on the goat farm Amit Rom founded on Mount Kamon in 1986. It is run by Sharon Perez and Amir Tzemach Bar, who live in Misgav, and its seasonal Mediterranean dairy menu is built on the farm's own goat cheeses and the vegetables grown there, with organic free-range eggs from Kishorit, wines from nearby wineries, olive oil and local sourdough bread. It serves breakfast and lunch from Sunday to Friday, stays open until 22:00 on Thursdays, and is closed on Shabbat and holidays. Dishes include a farm breakfast, charred tomato shakshuka, kuku sabzi, a platter of the dairy's goat cheeses and a risotto of wild mushrooms and smoked trout, and it hosts private events for 20 people or more.
