Beertzinut was founded at Kibbutz Ketura in 2013. By its own account it has since made 15 different beers and won three medals at an international competition, and it also makes a hard seltzer, an alcoholic soda, from marula fruit. Its site sells the beers by the six-pack and the carton, for collection or home delivery, and offers beers made to order for a business, a wedding or a birthday, and workshops on brewing. Visits are by arrangement only: its listing on the regional council's business board asks visitors to send a WhatsApp message to set a time. The council's tourism site adds that the beers are sold in the kibbutz lobby every day of the week from 8:00 to 22:00.
