The Kfar Etzion Field School was founded by Kibbutz Kfar Etzion with the Society for the Protection of Nature in Israel soon after the Six-Day War, and it guides tours across Judea: its hills, lowlands and desert, Jerusalem included. In the kibbutz it runs a guest house of 51 rooms for groups, families and pupils, 24 zimmers with private yards and jacuzzis facing the Bracha Valley, five igloos for groups of up to 15, a campsite, a hostel and a tent. Shabbat stays are full board, with a dining room for up to 600 and private dining rooms for groups of up to 150, a Shabbat manager on hand, and the kibbutz's synagogue for prayers. Its site gives the meals as kosher mehadrin under the Gush Etzion rabbinate.
