Shoshana's Cakes is the family bakery from which the Haroeh Bakafe restaurant grew, and the café's site says its desserts are made here every day from seasonal ingredients. The bakery's own site says it wakes at 06:00 every morning, when the ovens are lit, yeast dough is rolled out, nuts are toasted and apples grated. It sells yeast cakes of cocoa, poppy seed, apple, cheese, nougat and pistachio cream, cold cakes such as crumble cheesecake, tiramisu and chocolate mousse, cookies, crisp pastries and quiches, with menus for Rosh Hashanah and Shavuot and a kosher-for-Passover range, and it bakes cakes to order for birthdays and other events. On its shelves are also sugar-free jams, honey from the Ofir apiary, Tishbi wines, house granola and olive oil.
