Rotman Olive Groves is the Rotman family's farm in Moshav Kfar Shmuel, in the Ayalon Valley, which the family has worked for 60 years and where three generations have grown olives. Its oil comes from the family's own groves in the moshav: grown ecologically, picked and cold pressed, and stored so as to keep an extra virgin grade with an acidity of up to 0.5 percent, by the farm's own account. It presses Barnea, Picholine and Souri olives, sells the oil in 750 ml bottles and 2-litre tins along with citrus-blossom, wildflower and eucalyptus honey, and makes up holiday gift boxes. Visits to the farm are by arrangement.
