Thai street food at 1 Sderot Yerushalayim: the Krayot branch of three Thai restaurants that bring their ingredients and kitchenware from Bangkok
Chang Ba's Krayot branch is at 1 Sderot Yerushalayim in Kiryat Bialik, and the group has two more Thai restaurants, in Haifa and in Yokneam. Its site says Chang Ba was born of a great love for the Thai kitchen and sets out to recreate Thai street food: the spices, oils, sauces and kitchenware are imported directly from Bangkok, and the kitchen team is made up of Thai cooks who grind the spice mixes with a mortar and pestle. The restaurants are decorated with bamboo and calm colours, with a bar that pours Singha beer and seating corners. The menu runs through soups, salads, noodles such as pad thai and pad see ew, curries and wok dishes with rice, with a choice of tofu, chicken, beef, fish or shrimp. The branch is open every day from 12:00 to 22:00, and its site takes table bookings, deliveries and pickup orders.
