Clil Guest House is a small guest house in Klil, which its site calls Israel's first ecological village: a widely dispersed community in the foothills of the Western Galilee, built in 1979, off the power grid and lit by no street lights, so the nights are dark enough for stargazing. Its three rooms, two private doubles and a four-bed dorm, sit above the hosts' family home in an olive grove with views, and share a shower and toilets, a kitchenette and a wide balcony with a big dining table, with a campfire circle down among the olive trees. After a decade of hosting guests of all ages it now takes guests aged 18 and over only, and its site describes a quiet place to rest, do yoga, hike, meet other travellers or work. It points guests to the village's bakery, organic farm shop and local cooks, and to Kafr Yasif and Nahariya for shopping.
