Caravaggio is an Italian restaurant named after the Baroque painter, in the farming moshav of Kokhav Michael on the southern coastal plain. Its site says it was set up in what was once the moshav's flower-packing plant and opened in 2018. The menu runs from breakfasts and gourmet sandwiches to focaccinas from its stone oven, pizzas, pastas, risottos and mains such as salmon fillet, a burger and entrecôte, and it changes with the seasons. It also works as a boutique bakery, selling sourdough loaves, challahs for Shabbat, focaccias and hand-made yeast cakes on Fridays, when the restaurant serves a breakfast buffet. It takes private events, up to 50 guests on its about page and 70 on its home page.
