Hamachleva is an Israeli and Italian kitchen in Kibbutz Ma'agan, run by the brothers Daniel and Yotam Steinberg, who grew up on the kibbutz, its site says. The menu runs to pizzas, pastas, salads, pastries and jachnun, for eating in, taking away or free delivery in the Jordan Valley, and it takes advance orders for groups and family events. The Ma'agan Eden holiday village, a five-minute walk away, sends its guests there and calls the pizza its best-known dish. On Saturday mornings it sells jachnun and Turkish bourekas from nine until they run out, beside the holiday village's outer car park.
