GamlaYort is a compound of two Mongolian yurts set apart from one another, each with its own garden and private pool, and its site says it suits guests who keep tradition. Inside each yurt are a wooden double bed, a round jacuzzi sunk into the floor, an equipped kitchen with a Shabbat hot plate, air conditioning and a home cinema, and the yard has a pool, a barbecue corner and sun loungers. The house treats include beer, fruit juice, cola, snacks and chocolates. A country breakfast can be ordered ahead for a separate charge, and the hosts keep two jeeps and take guests on paid tours of the area by arrangement.

Its regular price list gives 1,200 shekels a night for a couple midweek and 1,250 at weekends, with 150 more for each child up to 16; the price includes beer, soft drinks, snacks and a bottle of wine.
