Moshav Ma'ale Gamla, Ma'ale Gamla

A green compound of wooden cabins for families and couples in Ma'ale Gamla, with a covered heated pool, a large spa jacuzzi and a dry sauna, hosted since 2000 by Irit and Zvika Marom

Irit and Zvika Marom set the compound up in 2000 in the wide yard of their home in Ma'ale Gamla, and their site says they have tended and renewed it since while keeping it rustic and easygoing. It has wooden cabins for families, roomy cabins for couples and a guest apartment, with shared and private corners among lawns and ornamental trees. The covered pool is heated as the weather requires and stands with a large spa jacuzzi and a dry sauna, all open until midnight, with no separate hours for men and women. Beside each cabin are a picnic table with benches, hammocks, a barbecue and play equipment for children, and a wide shared area has a basin barbecue, a sink and picnic tables. The compound looks out to the Golan Heights and the hills of the Galilee.
