Galilee Hills Resort & Suites is a privately owned estate on Mount Hazon, 600 metres above sea level, with three self-contained residences: SunSide, a three-storey villa with a rooftop penthouse for up to eight, and two suites, SkySide and MoonSide. Each has its own entrance, kitchen and terraces, and all three share a heated saltwater pool with a glass edge facing the Sea of Galilee, open all year, a hot tub, a strength and boxing gym, a barbecue pavilion and an outdoor stone shower. Its site says a Druze breakfast of labneh, za'atar, olives, fresh bread and eggs is prepared each morning by the hostess, Wafa, and served by the pool, and a bottle of wine from a nearby boutique winery waits in the kitchen on arrival. Guests book a single residence or the whole estate, for 16 to 20 people, on WhatsApp, in English, Hebrew or Arabic. The site puts it 25 minutes' drive from Tiberias and 90 from Tel Aviv.

A ground-floor suite that opens straight onto the pool deck, with two queen bedrooms, a sofa bed, an open-plan living room and kitchen, a rain-shower bathroom and a balcony facing the Sea of Galilee. 600 shekels a person a night on its limited-time price list.
MoonSide Suite

An upper-floor suite with a king and a queen bedroom, a full kitchen, a living room and a rain-shower bathroom, looking out over the Galilee hills. 500 shekels a person a night on its limited-time price list.
Each residence has its own entrance, kitchen and terraces, Wi-Fi and smart TVs with streaming services, and all three share the pool, hot tub, gym and barbecue pavilion. For a stay with the facilities to themselves, its price list charges 1,000 shekels a person a night for up to four guests, 800 for five to ten and 600 for more than ten. Bookings are made on WhatsApp.
