Guest house

14 HaGoren Street, Metula

Seven guest rooms around a big lawn with hammocks in Metula's quiet HaGoren neighbourhood, a few minutes' walk from the Ayun stream reserve

Avira Kafrit BaGoren, a country feeling at HaGoren, is a fenced compound of seven guest rooms that a local couple opened in 1997 in HaGoren, which its site calls one of Metula's quietest neighbourhoods. There are two rooms for couples, four family rooms with a separate children's room, and an upstairs suite with a living room, a full kitchen and a jacuzzi for two; every room has a kitchenette, cable TV and air conditioning. Outside is a large lawn garden with hammocks and shaded seating, an Israeli breakfast is served, and there is plenty of private parking. The Ayun stream reserve, the Canada Centre, the Spring Park and the main street are a few minutes' walk away, by its own account, and the hosts recommend trips and attractions around the Galilee.
