Sherman's stands on the cliff over the Zin valley at Midreshet Ben-Gurion, in a building with inner levels for the rooms and a wide hall whose windows look as far as the mountains of Edom, with sunrise over them and sunset on the terrace. Its 14 rooms are built with natural materials such as wood and natural plaster, and each has wide beds, satellite television, an espresso machine, a minibar and its own bathroom; one ground-floor room of 36 square metres is fitted for wheelchairs. Breakfast is served from 08:00 to 11:00 every day but Sunday, and the site says the place is kosher. Its site says a scenic promenade along the Zin cliff runs through its yard and that many walking trails start from the lobby, and it also hosts business events and family celebrations. It is run by the Midreshet Ben-Gurion corporation, and the Negev Highlands tourism team's list of places to eat names Café Sherman's, open for breakfast and in the evenings.
