Bishiq HaMivshala is a meat restaurant in moshav Mishmar Ayalon, near Modi'in, with a brewery in the same compound; the council's tourism site calls it Nir Bishi's brewery and meat restaurant. Its site says the owners chose an all-you-can-eat format so that every diner could taste the whole menu: the meal opens with six salads and starters such as a bun filled with asado, falafel with herbs and sirloin carpaccio, goes on to unlimited platters of Argentinian entrecôte, sirloin, lamb fat, smoked asado, brisket, glazed lamb spare ribs, smoked chicken, chicken thighs, house patties and merguez, and ends with Bishiq's yeast cake, parve ice cream or its malabi, with four of the brewery's beers, wine and soft drinks included. The family keeps a flock of sheep and brings its own lamb to the table, and the desserts are made by the family. It opens on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings, by advance booking only, for diners over 18 or with a parent, serves an à la carte menu on Tuesdays, and hosts private events of 40 guests or more; a protected room adjoins the restaurant.
