This is the Modi'in Illit branch of Hummus Eliyahu, a chain whose site lists 57 hummus restaurants. The chain grew from Eliyahu Shmueli's search for the perfect hummus, begun in 2008, and the small hummus place he first opened in Yokneam. By its own account, Israeli chickpeas are cooked every day and ground in front of the customers with its own tahini, Israeli olive oil and spices, and served with Yemenite pita, onion, pickles, tomato and hot pepper, and refills of hummus and lemonade are free. The branch is at 46 Avnei Nezer Street, which the chain's branch list calls the Green complex and its accessibility statement the Kesem centre. It opens from Sunday to Thursday from 12:00 to 22:00, and the branch list gives its kashrut as the Badatz of Kehilot Kodesh Kiryat Sefer.
