A charcoal grill in Modi'in's city centre with Jerusalem market roots, kebab skewers and a butcher's counter

Casbah is a charcoal grill on Dam HaMaccabim in Modi'in's new city centre, which its site says joins long Jerusalem tradition, family warmth and home flavours. It grills chicken, steaks and the Jerusalem mixed grill, and its signature is the kebab skewer; there are also home dishes such as kubbeh and stuffed vine leaves, salads, children's dishes and desserts, and its butcher's counter sells the meat to cook at home. It aims for the feel of a Jerusalem market, with cheerful music, arak and ouzo. It takes events of up to 50 guests inside and 50 more outside.
