An all-day dairy and fish brasserie in Merkaz Einav, run by pastry chef Michal Salem and her husband Eli

Michalis is a kosher dairy brasserie on HaHarat Street in Merkaz Einav, open from morning to night. Behind it is Michal Salem, a pastry chef, artist and painter, who built it with her husband Eli. The kitchen cooks creative dairy and fish dishes with an eye on the season: fresh salads, handmade pastas and tortellini, pizzas from a stone oven and fresh fish, and its own patisserie makes the desserts and sweet and savoury series to take home. It also prepares hosting trays and has a private room with projection equipment for meetings and celebrations. It opens Sunday to Friday and again an hour after Shabbat ends.
