Noam's Artichoke is the artichoke farm of Noam Yakoba in Moshav Nir Banim. In the artichoke season, which the council's tourism site gives as mid-December to the end of April, its farm shop sells fresh artichokes straight from the field, with olive oil, olives, red and white wine, grapes, raisins, honey and artichoke seedlings; its site gives the shop's hours as every day from 8:00 to 20:00. Every Saturday at 12:00 Noam leads a walking tour of the artichoke fields, with farmers' rubber boots in every size for the visitors, and the farm cooks dozens of vegetarian dishes from artichokes; the tourism site describes a self-service buffet in the dining room afterwards, with soup, pasta, hamin, stews, salads and pastries. The tour costs 120 shekels for an adult and 60 for a child, booked ahead, and Haaretz, Ynet and Walla have written about the farm.
