Etz HaTut, the mulberry tree, stands in the heart of Peki'in's old village beside the spring, under a huge mulberry tree whose branches shade the whole square in front of it; Galilee Treasures, the Western Galilee tourism site, noted on 6 August 2025 that it is open. The site says the cook makes fresh food by her family's traditional recipes, from a fixed menu of hummus, mashawsha, homemade msabbaha, falafel, stuffed vine leaves, homemade labneh from goat's or cow's milk and wholemeal Druze pita baked in the restaurant's own taboon, with mansaf and maqluba to order ahead. From the grill come lamb skewers, pargiyot, hearts and chicken breast; desserts are baklava and semolina cake in rose water, and coffee and herbal tea are on the house. Beside the restaurant, a juice stand that belongs to the family presses pomegranates, oranges and apples, and lemons for lemonade.
