La Cueva, Spanish for the cave, is the restaurant that used to be called The Cave, and it is carved into a vaulted cave with a closed balcony that looks out over Peki'in. Galilee Treasures, the Western Galilee tourism site, says the family that owns it are cooks who worked in other kitchens before they opened a place of their own, and that there is no written menu: guests go by the chef's suggestion. Traditional dishes cooked every day, such as kebab, mujaddara, freekeh, shulbato, mansaf, stuffed vine leaves and chicken from the taboon, sit beside quick dishes such as schnitzel, chicken breast, pargiyot and hamburgers. Desserts run from baklava and coffee to American ice cream and pancakes, and the site lists gluten-free dishes, children's meals and delivery.
