Atliz HaDarom is a butcher's shop and grill on the main road in the centre of Rahat, opposite Bank Mercantile; the city's Rahat 360 business index lists it as a butcher's and restaurant. ynet's Lin Levi reported in November 2018 that the brothers Yousef and Adham al-Hajouj, who inherited it from their father Shriki, renovated and reopened it in 2002, and that most of its large room is given over to kebab: the beef kebabs are skewered in an inner room and grilled outside over a big charcoal grill. She priced five skewers with hummus, a salad of tomatoes grilled over the coals and pitas at 40 shekels, and a kilo of kebabs to take home at 70, and called it the best snack in Rahat. In February 2021 Time Out's guide to eating in the south sent readers to it for juicy kebab in a pita with house-made mashwiya.
