A kosher meat brasserie on Har HaTsofim Street, named after Ephraim Zacks, one of the founding farmers of Rehovot

Zacks Brasserie is a kosher meat restaurant at 2 Har HaTsofim Street, named, its site says, after Ephraim Zacks, a farmer, community leader and one of the founders of the Rehovot colony, who planted almond trees in its orchards. The kitchen is led by chef David Levy and leans on local farming: vegetables from greenhouses in the north and the south, herbs grown for the restaurant, Israeli olive oil, seasonal fish and meat aged on the premises. Desserts are built on almonds, olive oil and orchard scents, and the wine list is a tour of Israeli wineries, with Bravdo, from Karmei Yosef near Rehovot, as the house wine. It is open Sunday to Thursday for lunch and dinner and closed on Friday and Saturday.
