Chai Negev is a desert khan inside Kibbutz Revivim, about 30 km south of Beersheba on Road 40, planned mostly on ecological principles. Guests sleep in insulated mud-built khans on mats and mattresses, in Indian tipi tents, in Kazakh tents on wooden floors or in guest rooms with their own bathrooms, all air-conditioned, and the fenced and guarded site has seating corners, barbecue and poyke spots, campfire areas, a kitchenette, a standard shelter, a synagogue, parking, an archaeological dig corner and football and basketball courts. The stay includes a desert breakfast at which guests bake their own pitas on a saj, and crafts such as painting clay jars, filling bottles with coloured sand and digging cost extra. It is for overnight guests only, booked in advance, with no day visits, and it also hosts receptions, company days and parties; its site points to the kibbutz's shaped-tree garden, its cactus garden and Mitzpe Revivim nearby.

Insulated, air-conditioned buildings of mud, sleeping on mats and mattresses, each with a fridge; showers and toilets nearby. Guests bring bedding or a sleeping bag (hire 25 shekels).
Tipi tent
Sleeps up to 6
An Indian tipi with mattresses, lighting, sockets and air conditioning; hot showers and toilets and shared fridges nearby. A large tipi takes up to eleven, from 600 shekels for six.
Kazakh tent
On a wooden floor, with thick mattresses, air conditioning, a fridge, a table and chairs, lighting and sockets; showers and toilets in a building next to it.
Guest room
Beds and linen, air conditioning, television, a coffee corner, a fridge and a private shower and toilet; toiletries are not included.
