Ruth Safed stands in the Artists' Colony of old Safed, in and around a guest khan that the hotel dates to 800 years ago: old stone rooms and arches, an old lane inside the grounds and a modern wing. Some rooms look out to the Upper Galilee and Mount Meron. The half-Olympic outdoor pool works in the summer season, with a children's pool beside it, and there is a gym and a small dry sauna. Breakfast and, on Thursdays and Fridays, dinner are served in the Khan restaurant, and the Muza wine bar is open to the public. Parking and Wi-Fi are free for guests, and pets stay by arrangement for 120 shekels a night.
