A kosher café and patisserie in a former private house on Moshe Zarach Street, run by pastry chef Or Shukrun and known for its plated desserts.
Oryosss is the café of Or Shukrun, a chef and pastry chef who was a finalist on the television contest "The Perfect Dessert", took part in season 7 of "Game of Chefs" and, Mako says, received the President's award for her two businesses near the Gaza border. She opened it in August 2023, after seven years of running a small bakery in Kibbutz Erez, because people in the area had asked her for a kosher place that closes on Shabbat, and reopened it in May 2024. It is in a building that used to be a private house, with pictures of the people who lived there on the walls and a shaded yard at the entrance, and only Israeli music plays. The display case holds her mushroom dessert and her cube dessert; the kitchen sends out a fried cauliflower lahmajun, khachapuri, a sweet potato and rocket salad and pasta in lemon butter, and adds dishes such as a cheese and aubergine cigar and gyoza in the evening. On Wolt it takes orders Sunday to Thursday from 09:00 to 14:30 and from 19:00 to 22:30, and on Friday from 09:00 to 14:30.
