Para ("the cow") was founded in 2004 in the heart of Moshav Shavei Tzion. It has the Para hall, an air-conditioned performance hall with a fine sound system and acoustics and a professional grill kitchen serving burgers, steaks and schnitzel strips, and HaShoket ("the trough"), its little sister opened in 2019, with a long bar and, outside it, a tended yard with a sea breeze, a ficus tree and a taboon oven for pizza. Its site says it is known across the north for music, art and culture, with live shows, stand-up, concept parties and talks, and private events by arrangement. HaShoket opens Tuesday to Saturday from 18:00, and on show nights the doors open at 20:00 and most shows start at 21:30.
