Moshav Shoresh, Shoresh

A holiday village of single-storey units at the highest point of Moshav Shoresh, heir to the Shoresh Hotel, with a seasonal pool and views to Jerusalem and the coastal plain

Yarok BaHar stands at the highest point of Moshav Shoresh, looking out over the Judean Hills, Jerusalem and the coastal plain, and belongs to Shoresh Hotel Ltd. Its site traces the moshav to 27 September 1948 and the hosting to 1967, when members opened the first swimming pool in the Jerusalem area; the old Shoresh Hotel closed in 2005. The ground-floor units were recently repainted, refurnished and fitted with new bathrooms, faster wifi and televisions, and each has its own barbecue point, with breakfast in a basket delivered to the room as an option. The semi-Olympic pool with two waterfalls and a toddlers' pool is free for guests in season; the 2026 season has ended and the pool reopens at Passover 2027.
