A maker of liqueurs from fresh Israeli fruit, which now receives visitors for tours and workshops at Srigim Brewery in the Elah Valley

Even-Ram makes liqueurs from fresh fruit grown on Israeli farms. Its site tells how Itzik Even-Ram fermented his first liqueur some 15 years ago from fruit in his garden in a Jerusalem neighbourhood, as a pastime beside his work as a finance manager, until demand outgrew what he could make at home; beside the traditional cherry, apricot and plum he began making liqueurs of passion fruit, carob, lemon and orange. Its shop now lists cherry, blueberry, forest fruit, fig, date, pomegranate, honey, carob, lychee, passion fruit, limoncello and chocolate liqueurs, and its site says they are kosher lemehadrin. Visitors come to its new home at Srigim Brewery for a tour of about 45 minutes through the production rooms with a generous tasting, at 40 shekels a person, or a VIP workshop at 125 shekels in which they make two liqueurs and mix cocktails from them; the visitor centre also hosts team days, birthdays and private parties.
