PLAY Hatzuk Beach, formerly the West hotel, stands by HaTzuk beach in the north of Tel Aviv, near the Glilot junction and about 15 minutes' drive from the city centre. Its 65 suites are spread over 13 floors, each with a living room, a separate bedroom, a kitchenette and a private balcony, many facing the sea. The grounds hold a large outdoor pool with lawns, hammocks and a wide wooden deck, open in season from 09:00 to 18:00, a spa with dry and wet saunas and treatment rooms, a gym and the café Fleur. The beach below, reached straight from the hotel, is open all year, with lifeguards in season.
