A Thai restaurant on north Dizengoff Street, with a kitchen of Thai cooks

Nam on Dizengoff Street is one of two Thai restaurants of that name in Tel Aviv; the other is on King George Street. Its site explains the name: nam means poured water, and in the kitchen it is the sauce poured over a dish at the end, the last touch that ties its flavours together. The dishes are made by a trained team of Thai cooks who keep to the recipes of the country of origin, the site says; many of the raw materials come from Thailand, and the Thai vegetables are grown on the restaurant's own farmland. Its booking page lists a discount of 10% on the food menu at weekday lunch, and the restaurant is open every day of the week.
