A Japanese street-food restaurant and bar on HaArba'a Street, built as a Tokyo alley behind Japanese lanterns

Oban Koban, at 16 HaArba'a Street, is in its site's words a Tokyo alley with a restaurant and a bar beside it, serving passers-by. It serves modern Japanese street food made from good ingredients and its own recipes, from a busy open kitchen behind a façade of Japanese lanterns, meant to recall a stroll through Shinjuku and Shibuya. Its site says the name is that of the oval gold coins of feudal Japan, carried for luck, and that the service follows Japanese manners. The menu is divided into sushi and starters, ramen and noodles, rice and curry, sweets and drinks. It is open every day from 12:00 to 23:00.
