A desert khan of air-conditioned goat-hair tents among the date palms of Moshav Tzofar, with shared kitchens, campfire corners and its own pub.
Sharon, who grew up in the Arava, and Kobi, who came from the sea, made their home on Moshav Tzofar, where Kobi also runs the Trip Tzahov jeep tour company; the khan grew out of the people they met on those tours. Its tents, all of goat hair, sleep couples, families and large groups, around a central compound with two equipped kitchens, barbecue and campfire corners, hammocks, picnic tables and new shower blocks with hot water day and night. In the air-conditioned pub guests can order pizza, ice cream, cold beer or coffee, and watch a film on its home cinema. Loudspeakers and karaoke are not allowed, and in the bathing season guests enter the moshav's pool for free.
