Prem Ursula waits at the entrance to Tzukim on the Arava road, with a concept menu of traditional German food alongside fresh, seasonal local cooking. Two residents of Tzukim run it and wrote the menu with a chef from the village, with changing specials drawn from the greenhouses beside the restaurant. Its flagship dishes are boutique sausages served Berlin style and roasted cauliflower on smoked freekeh with green tahini, alongside homemade ravioli and gnocchi, and the menu speaks of zwiebelkuchen and spätzle. Wooden furniture, a colourful modern mural, retro pictures and cheerful music fill the room, and its booking page takes tables online.
