8 Maklev Street, Yehud

A family pastry shop and café on Maklev Street, kosher lemehadrin, baking breads, cakes and pastries on the spot since 2009.

Matilda is a family business that Yaakov and Ronit Oner founded in 2009 and named after Yaakov's grandmother. From the early morning it sells fresh sandwiches, breads baked on the spot, warm pastries and coffee, and through the day a counter of cakes, cookies, quiches, yeast cakes and sourdough loaves, with vegan, gluten-free and sugar-free choices among them. On Fridays it adds special pastries, home-style cakes and cookies and fresh ready-made food, vegan dishes included, and before the holidays it puts out gift boxes and festive desserts. Its site also takes orders for birthday cakes, hosting trays and picnic baskets, for delivery or collection from the shop.
