Ester is the restaurant of chef Itzik Bar Siman Tov, who named it after his wife. Its English page places it in a backyard, in a renovated Arab house, facing the planes that take off to the sky. The chef writes that the fields around the restaurant are felt in the menu, with fresh produce brought every day from growers around Yehud, and that his kitchen joins those ingredients to French and Italian techniques. The menu runs from raw fish, stuffed cabbage and oxtail gyoza to handmade pasta, seafood, a short rib roasted overnight and aged cuts on the bone. It has a private room for up to 26 diners, and serves a business lunch from Sunday to Friday.
