A year of Fridays, to the minute.

In Teaneck the candles are lit at 4:09 pm on the earliest Friday of 2027 and at 8:13 pm on the latest. The print lists all 53, with the time Shabbat ends and the portion read that week.

The times are the same calculation as your city's page on Israel.com: your community's custom for candle lighting, 18 minutes before sunset in most places, and the end of Shabbat when the sun is 8.5 degrees below the horizon.

Candle lighting in Teaneck on each of the 53 Fridays of 2027. Gold marks a Friday that is also a festival.

What you get.

  • Your city, not a list of thirty

Wall calendars print the times for a few dozen big cities. This one is worked out for the place you choose, from the same tables as its Shabbat page here.

  • Your family's name on it

Across the top, if you want it: The Levy home, or Shabbat shalom from the Cohens. Or leave it clean.

  • Museum-quality matte paper

Thick 189 g/m² paper with a matte finish that does not glare under a lamp, so the small type stays readable.

  • Framed and ready to hang

A wood frame in black, white or oak, three quarters of an inch deep, with a clear acrylic front and the hanging hardware included.

Who it is for.

  • A new home

The first year in a new house, with the family's name across the top.

  • A wedding

Their first year of Shabbat dinners, every Friday on one sheet.

  • A Hanukkah gift

In 2027 the first candle falls on a Friday, December 24. It is on the print.

  • Someone far from family

Their city's times, so they light candles when you do.

Why we made it.

Readers open our Shabbat pages every Friday afternoon for one number. We wanted a year of that number to hang where the question gets asked.

Questions before you order

Which cities can I choose?+

Any of the 158 places with a Shabbat page on Israel.com. If yours is not there, the nearest large city is usually within a minute or two.

Which custom does it use for candle lighting?+

Your city's own, as on its page here: 18 minutes before sunset in most places, and the local custom where it differs, such as 40 minutes in Jerusalem. Shabbat ends when the sun is 8.5 degrees below the horizon.

Does it include the festivals?+

Yes. Every festival candle lighting of 2027 is on it in gold, including the nights when candles are lit again after Shabbat or after the first day of a festival.

Can I see it before I pay?+

Yes. The picture on this page redraws with every answer, and it is drawn by the same code as the file we print. Nothing goes in the basket until your own picture has drawn.

How long does delivery take?+

Each piece is made to order, which takes two to five working days, and then it is posted. Most orders reach US addresses in two to three weeks and Israeli addresses in three to four. We email the tracking link the day it ships.

Can I send it straight to someone as a gift?+

Yes. Put their address in at checkout and it goes straight to them.

What if it arrives damaged or misprinted?+

Reply to your order email with a photo and we send a new one, free.
