Three ecologically built houses in the woods of Amirim, let by a family who live beside them on a small permaculture farm

The Blue House is one of three guest houses that Oshra and Lasse Peterson built themselves on HaAlonim Street in Amirim, in the woodland of Mount Mitzpe HaYamim. They live beside them with their children, horses, dogs, chickens and a vegetable garden on what their site calls a small permaculture farm, and opened to guests in 2018. The houses were built from natural and recycled materials: the Blue House, of 60 square metres with two bedrooms and a gallery, the House in the Oaks, of 120 square metres for up to seven, and the Jasmine House with a hot tub on its balcony. There are no televisions, by design, but there is Wi-Fi, and each house has a full kitchen with Galilee olive oil and herbs from the garden. Dogs are welcome by arrangement, and breakfast can be ordered to the house.

    60 m² · 1 room · Sleeps up to 4

    A light-filled house of 60 square metres up a stone stairway, with two bedrooms, a lounging corner, a bathroom, an equipped kitchen, a living room and dining corner open to the woodland view, a large balcony with a hot tub and a garden seating corner.

There are no televisions, by design, but there is Wi-Fi. There is no pool on site, but guests get free entry to the village pool in season. Meat and fish may not be brought in and there is no barbecuing, as Amirim is a vegetarian and vegan village. A camping cot and a high chair are available by arrangement.
