Gag HaGalil, the roof of the Galilee, is a small boutique compound at the edge of Amirim on the slope of Mount Mitzpe HaYamim, with a view that its site says runs from the Golan and the Sea of Galilee to the Mediterranean and Haifa. It lets the Muskat wooden cabin, built by the owner with a wood craftsman, and the Rimonim, Hadarim and Zeitim suites, each with a double jacuzzi, a kitchen with an espresso machine, handmade ceramic dishes and fresh herbs in the garden for tea. Above two of the suites is the roof deck that gives the place its name, about 115 square metres, with sun loungers, a gazebo, a bar and a spa pool for up to ten people heated to 38 degrees. A night costs 900 shekels midweek and 1,000 at weekends, and breakfast, dinner and massages can be added.

    For couples, in white and blue over a dark wooden floor, with an LCD screen, internet and cable, a kitchen, a big jacuzzi and a garden balcony.

  • Zeitim suite

    A garden suite with hammocks, seating corners and a bar under an olive tree among the oaks, a modern kitchen, a dining table, a living area, a big jacuzzi and a wall that is all window.
