Moshav Amirim, the fifth house on the right from the entrance, Amirim

Wooden cabins, suites and houses on fruit-tree terraces in Amirim, kept by a vegetarian family who settled there in 1976

Ohn-Bar Guesthouse, Ohn-Bar Kayit BaKfar in Hebrew, is a family guest house in Amirim, the fifth house on the right from the village entrance, where Ohn and Anava settled in 1976 and raised five children, a fourth generation of vegetarians. Its wooden cabins and suites, each one different, are hidden among terraces of avocado, mulberry, clementine and fig trees on the hillside, many facing the Galilee hills, the Sea of Galilee and the Golan, and they range from a cabin for a couple to Beit Beeri, a whole house for up to 18. Pets are welcome in all but one unit, Wi-Fi and the film library are free, and the family lends maps and suggests walks. Guests who come by bus, train or bicycle get a discount outside holidays and summer.
