HaMexicani's story starts in 2006, its site says, with its first branch on KKL Street in Beer Sheva's Old City; more branches soon sprang up around the city, and the students and soldiers who took to it carried the name to the rest of the country. Its list of branches now runs to 34. The menu is built around filled tortillas: the house tortilla of minced entrecôte and minced beef in Mexican seasoning, chicken breast, pargiyot and entrecôte, each with spreads, salads and five sauces of your choice, beside salads, nachos with salsa and avocado, fried cauliflower and sweet potato chips. The branch at the Ispro Planet complex on Baruch Katinka Street opens every day of the week from 11:00, until 22:00, and until 15:00 on Friday.
