34 Derech Eliyahu Nawi, Beer Sheva

Chef Sahar Rafael's Cramim in Beer Sheva, the second branch of the restaurant he founded at Moshav Segula in 2002, with French cooking in Mediterranean and Iraqi flavours, dry-aged meat and wine from its own vineyard

Cramim Beer Sheva is the second of the three Cramim restaurants. The first opened in 2002 at Moshav Segula, north of Kiryat Gat, founded by chef Sahar Rafael, then 25, with his partners Dani Peretz, a restaurateur and wine man, and Yifrach Artzi; the third is in Rehovot. Its own page says the Beer Sheva restaurant opened after Cramim Segula's success and growing demand in the south. Walla reported in June 2014 that it would open within about two weeks, with 250 seats, a VIP room for events and conferences and a gallery for work with the city's cultural and academic institutions, and ynet wrote in May 2015 that it had opened during Operation Protective Edge. Both gave its address as 66 Derech Hebron, the address the municipality's licence register still gives; its own pages, its booking page and the press since 2022 give 34 Eliyahu Nawi. In its own words, Cramim is a meeting of classic French cooking with Mediterranean and Iraqi flavours, built on local produce: vegetables from the greenhouses of Moshav Segula, olive oil from its groves along Route 40, wine from its own vineyard at Segula, bottled at the Soreq winery, and desserts from its own pastry kitchen. Its meat, with porterhouse, New York and prime rib among the cuts on the bone, is dry-aged for 20 to 35 days in a cold room kept at 0°C and sent to the restaurants vacuum-packed. The menu runs from focaccia, tahini and salads through pastas, sea bream, sea bass and shrimp to steaks, aged cuts sold by weight and a house hamburger, with a list of Israeli and foreign wines beside its own. A business lunch is served from Monday to Thursday until 17:00, an aperitivo menu from 17:00 to 19:00 on the same days, and dishes from its smoker on Tuesday evenings. Each Cramim restaurant has a private room for events of up to 30 guests, with a projector and sound. In August 2025 Channel 13's Zohar Cohen wrote that one cannot talk about good food in the south without mentioning Cramim, noted one of the most impressive wine collections in the area, art by local artists on the walls and seafood that is rare in Beer Sheva, and picked out the lamb baklava, the veal sirloin and a linguine carbonara di mare. It is open from Monday to Saturday, including Friday evening and Saturday, and closed on Sunday.

Sources disagree on these hours

Its branch page and its website's footer give Monday to Saturday from 12:00 to 23:30, closed on Sunday, and its Google listing, as Wanderlog copies it, gives the same. Its contact page, its booking page on Ontopo and Channel 13's list of August 2025 give midnight as the closing time, and the Instagram bio its website shows gives 23:00. Wolt takes orders from it from 12:00 to 22:00, Monday to Saturday; those are delivery hours. Rest still gives 09:00 to 01:00 every day, and ynet's list of November 2022 printed 9:00 to midnight, in the year mako wrote that it served breakfast as well.
