16 Nurit Street, Nof HaGilboa, Beit She'an

Persian-Jewish home hosting in the Nof HaGilboa neighbourhood, where chef Lili Twizer cooks for groups of 10 to 70 on a covered garden terrace, by booking only.

Bishulilim is the culinary home hosting of Lili Twizer, a chef born in Persia who grew up in the Beit She'an transit camp and trained at the Rimonim cooking school and the Chef college in Haifa. Groups of 10 to 70 eat on a covered, air-conditioned terrace in her garden at the foot of the Gilboa, Sunday to Friday and by advance booking only. The Persian feast brings five mains, such as gondi, khoresht sabzi and kubbeh in beetroot soup, and five salads, with her story of the family's aliyah and Persian folk music. A shorter visit serves cham-cham, the fried pastry in syrup that its site calls Beit She'an's own, with Persian tea, and a royal banquet adds traditional costumes and a henna ceremony. She also gives cooking and baking workshops, caters, and cooks Moroccan, Tunisian and Algerian dishes on request. Its site lists coverage in ynet, on Channel 13 and in El Al's in-flight magazine.
