Degania Bet Country Lodging is the guest-room site of Kibbutz Degania Bet, a cooperative farming kibbutz founded in 1920 in the middle of the Jordan Valley, set at the entrance to the kibbutz among lawns and trees. Its rooms range from new Deluxe units and ground-floor garden rooms to family units in a historic two-storey building listed for preservation, and breakfast is served in the kibbutz dining room. In season guests use the kibbutz pool for free, and within walking distance are the Galita chocolate farm, the Hanaleh café, the kibbutz bar Pansa and escape rooms; the lodging also runs guided tours of the kibbutz, its farming, its dairy and its history. The Sea of Galilee is about five minutes' drive away, and the Mul Kinneret shopping centre at Tzemach a short drive.
