HaTavas, Hebrew for the peacock, is a community pub founded in 2010 by the young members of Kibbutz Eilot. By its own listing it opens on Fridays at 21:00 and now and then besides, and hosts cultural events, concerts by young, original musicians, lectures and meetings of the local and regional community, as well as private events such as birthdays and company evenings. The room is plain and rustic, in the manner of the kibbutz, with a drinks bar, a sound system, a projector and a pool table. It holds up to 50 people inside and up to 150 outside.
