The holiday units of Kibbutz Eilot, the southernmost kibbutz in Israel, on a hilltop of lawns three minutes' drive from the Gulf of Eilat
Kibbutz Eilot was founded at Hanukkah 1962 and still lives as a collective kibbutz of about 120 members, living from farming, chiefly Medjool dates. Its tourism branch lets 41 air-conditioned holiday units for couples and families, set among gardens, lawns, shaded seats, hammocks and barbecue corners, on a hill that looks out over the Gulf of Eilat, the Eilat mountains and the mountains of Edom. Guests have the kibbutz's playgrounds, pool, minimarket, second-hand shop and pub, and the water park next door; the peacocks that walk the paths are part of the stay. A shop and café in the lodging lobby opens Sunday to Thursday from 9:30 to 17:30, with barista coffee, ice cream and local dates. Parking in the kibbutz is free, there are charging points for electric cars, and dogs are welcome in the ground-floor units for a fee.

A family apartment with a parents' bedroom and a children's room with two beds and two fold-out armchairs, in two-storey blocks of four apartments. A kitchenette with a mini fridge and a microwave, without cooking. Dogs are not taken in this type.
Palm rooms (deluxe family room)
30 m² · Sleeps up to 5
A ground-floor apartment with a parents' bedroom and a living room where up to three children's beds open, a private balcony and a kitchenette with a mini fridge and a microwave, without cooking. Dogs are welcome in this type, for a fee.
