A coffee roastery and neighbourhood café in Haifa's Talpiot Market, roasting arabica on the spot since 2019

Talek is a coffee roastery and café at 21 Sirkin Street in Haifa's Talpiot Market. Its founder, Tal, writes on its site that in 2019 he took a small roaster into the market and began roasting beans, and that what began almost underground soon became a meeting place for people after good, unpretentious coffee. It roasts fresh 100% arabica blends on the spot, serves pastries and sandwiches, and sells its blends, brewing gear and tastings. Two more branches followed, at the Tikotin Museum of Japanese Art on the Carmel and in the downtown. The market café is open every day of the week.
