Life Sciences Park building, 1 Netiv HaOr, Haifa

The Sinta Bar group's first restaurant, an urban bistro that ages its bone-in cuts on the bone, facing Sammy Ofer Stadium at Haifa's southern entrance

Sinta Bar is the oldest restaurant of the Sinta Bar group, which by its own account began in Haifa in 2003 and is owned by Ram Lasri, the group's chef, and Eli Shacharit, its chief executive; the group now runs six restaurants, Sasson and Mambo Milano among them, as well as a confectionery and a fresh-pasta factory. After 16 years on Moriah Boulevard on the Carmel, the restaurant moved in 2019 to the first floor of the Life Sciences Park building on Netiv HaOr, in the Matam area at Haifa's southern entrance, opposite Sammy Ofer Stadium. mako's design pages described the new room that November: 400 square metres and a 130-square-metre terrace looking out on the stadium, a wine room behind glass and iron, a bar with an Italian marble counter, a window onto the kitchen and an open taboon; its own site speaks of a large, warm room with iconic arches. It calls itself an urban bistro: meat aged on the premises, fish and seafood, and pasta made by hand in the group's own factory. Its bone-in cuts, from local calves, are aged on the bone for a month and grilled in a charcoal oven, and the menu also has steaks, a burger section with a dry-aged burger and a vegan one, gluten-free lunch and dinner menus, cocktails, a spirits list of about 220 and a wine list of about 166 bottles, 52 of them aged Israeli wines. From Sunday to Thursday it serves a business lunch, and it hosts small and medium private events and delivers across Haifa. In 2011, at its old address, Haaretz's critic Sagi Cohen called it the best urban bistro in Israel. mako's 2024 guide to Haifa called it a veteran institution that began as a meat restaurant and now offers much more than steaks, ynet the same year called it a 20-year-old Haifa institution and a temple for carnivores, and Channel 13 included it in March 2025 among the best meat restaurants in the north. Time Out Israel counted it among Haifa's veterans in its 2025 list of 31 places, and 103FM's Rafi Karaso reviewed its business lunch in November 2025.
