A dairy and fish café-restaurant inside Herzliya Park, a branch of the Gan Sipur chain, with books for children and a welcome for dogs

Cafe Gan Sipur in Herzliya is a branch of a chain of dairy and fish café-restaurants that stand in city parks. This one is inside Herzliya Park, by the Seven Stars Mall and about 400 metres from Herzliya railway station. The chain began in Holon, in the city's story garden in Kiryat Pinchas Eilon, where the play areas are drawn from children's books: Hebrew Wikipedia dates its opening to the end of 2011 and ynet's 2015 profile to 2012. Its website now lists eleven branches. By the branch's own account the room is built of pine, with plants growing in, warm lighting, flower-shaped lamps, hanging pots and a floor laid like garden paths; there is a library of books for children and adults, a children's menu printed with vowel points and a sink at a child's height. The menu is dairy and fish: fresh pastas, focaccia pizzas from a stone oven, shakshukas, salads, sandwiches and fish fillets, with morning specials until noon and dishes marked vegan or gluten free, though its kitchen is not free of gluten. Dogs are welcome outside and in the winter enclosure, and the dessert menu has muffins for them. Rest's magazine, in a list of brunch places in Herzliya in January 2026, called the Herzliya branch an especially successful one, in a large, shaded park with play areas for every age and a dog park, and described the café as lively and always full, with muffins, a bowl of cold water and a snack for dogs at the door. It is open every day from 08:00 to midnight, Saturday included, and holds private and company events of up to 50 guests. It has no kashrut certificate.

Sources disagree on these hours

Its own page for the branch gives 08:00 to midnight seven days a week, and the chain's menu page says the food menu is served from 08:00 to midnight and the morning specials until 12:00. Its Google listing, as Wanderlog copies it, and OpenStreetMap give the same hours, and so does its d.co.il listing, which adds that tables are booked ahead from Sunday to Friday and that on Saturday seating is for whoever comes first. Its booking page on Ontopo lists 08:00 to 22:00 every day but Friday, when it gives 08:00 to 18:00.
