De Shalit Square, at the descent to Sharon Beach (the Arches Beach), Herzliya Pituach, Herzliya
An all-day café above Sharon Beach in Herzliya Pituach, at the corner by the coloured arches, with coffee and pastries in the morning and pizzas, fish and a smashburger from midday
Cafe Keshet is a café and restaurant that serves from morning to evening, at the corner by the coloured arches on the descent from De Shalit Square to Sharon Beach, in Herzliya Pituach. Israel Hayom reported that it opened in early July 2026 for a trial run. mako called the arches one of the city's best-known sights and said the corner had stood abandoned for decades, and Haaretz wrote that Glidat Arye once sold ice cream there. It is not quite on the beach: by mako's account it sits above it and looks over the sea from the level of the square, with open lawns and several seating areas. Behind it is the entrepreneur Asaf Katzin, who, mako wrote, was behind Flora on Herzliya's beach and the restaurant on the Hilton beach, and who had run beach restaurants for 14 years, by Haaretz's account. He told mako that it is not fine dining, not a beach restaurant and not a fast snack bar, but a space where people can meet. In the morning there is a window of sandwiches and breakfast pastries, dishes suited to sportspeople, and coffee from the Nachat roastery beside speciality coffee drinks and matcha; from midday into the evening the kitchen sends out pizzas, pastas, fish, roast beef and a smashburger, which mako said was already shaping up as the signature dish. Works by the duo Brothers of Light hang on its walls, and mako and Haaretz reported art evenings, live music, talks and film screenings planned through the year. Israel Hayom included it among the 26 promising restaurants that opened in Israel between September 2025 and August 2026, and Debbest among the new non-kosher places in central Israel in September 2026. It is not kosher, and by mako's account it opens every day of the week from 08:00.
